Controls Engineer – 0411-F

Warren, MI

Position Duties:

• The Controls Engineer will provide project based technical leadership for the design, development, testing, and implementation of automated manufacturing systems
• Candidate must have PLC experience (Rockwell CLX and/ or Siemens S7)
• Must utilize solid troubleshooting skills while working with engineers and skilled trades in a production environment
• The Controls Engineer will be required to participate in team/customer meetings to identify specifications, time lines and customer expectations

Skills and Experience:

• Work in plant coordinating with plant engineers and contractors as an Owner representative
• Knowledge of conveyors, tooling & paint processes equipment
• Hardware design such as panel layout or industrial controls
• Must be self-motivated, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• 3 to 5 years’ experience

Computer Skills:

• Microsoft Office
• Microsoft Project
• AutoCAD
