Dan Birchmeier
Bio
With a distinguished career that has spanned over four decades, Dan has a wealth of knowledge within the manufacturing industry. Beginning his career with Design Systems, Inc. in 1986, Dan has held several positions within the organization, always embracing the company culture of customer focus and doing what it takes to get the job done.
Through the years one thing stayed consistent, Dan always looked out for the best interest of the client and did what was necessary to deliver successful projects. This client first approach and willingness to do what it takes led to more and more responsibility. He quickly progressed up thru the ranks, leading major programs for DSI’s industrial client base. Beginning in 2003, Dan took over the role of Director of Sales and Marketing where he helped diversify DSI into new markets and services. In 2020 Dan became one of the managing partners where he continues his client first focus and putting Design Systems, Inc. in the best position to continue to be successful in the coming years.
In his free time Dan enjoys boating, golfing, tennis, pickleball and spending time with his wife in the Traverse City area of Northern Michigan.
