Design Systems, Inc. awarded contract to design and supply prototype Production Aid Tools to a major automobile manufacturer in Mexico.

Design Systems, Inc. uses multiple software packages for 3D prop tools, conveyors and carrier designs including Catia, Inventor and Unigraphics. For this project, the tools include a hood handle and support, lift gate handle and prop, door hold open (Elpo), front & rear door over slam, front & rear door (Clean) checklink and fuel fill door fixture. DSI will build the prototype tools and validate the designs for functionality with the new vehicles at the plant.
